Management Team

The members of Daylight's senior management team bring with them decades of experience in all aspects of oil and natural gas operations, corporate management and business plan execution. In particular, the management team has longstanding personal familiarity and a track record of success in the geological and geographical location of Daylight's key producing assets.

Anthony Lambert | President and Chief Executive Officer and Director

Mr. Lambert has been President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Daylight since December 2004. Starting in July 2000 he was Vice President, Operations, Chief Operating Officer and a Director of Midnight Oil and Gas Ltd. (a public oil and gas company). From August 1995 to May 2000 Mr. Lambert was the Vice President, Operations of Ulster Petroleums Ltd.

Steve Nielsen | Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Since 2004, Mr. Nielsen has been Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Daylight. He was Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of MFIT Corp. (the general partner of a private income trust) starting April 2004, and from April 2002 to December 2003 Mr. Nielsen was the Controller at Gauntlet Energy Corporation (a public oil and gas company). From May 1998 to May 2000 he was the Treasurer and Corporate Secretary at Ulster Petroleums Ltd. (a public oil and gas company) and the Financial Controller at Ulster Petroleums Ltd.

Ted Hanbury | Executive Vice President

Mr. Hanbury joined Daylight as Executive Vice President in October 2006. He has also held the position of Director, Bengal Energy Ltd. since July 2008. Prior to these positions he was the founding Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Sequoia Oil and Gas Trust beginning in April 2005. From December 2003 to April 2005, Mr. Hanbury was Vice President, Business Development of Argo Energy Ltd., and from April 2005 to February 2006 a Director of White Fire Energy. Prior to Argo, Mr. Hanbury held the position of Vice President of Technical Services for Advantage Energy Services Ltd. (a private oil and gas consulting corporation).

Brent Eshleman | Vice President, Exploitation

Mr. Eshleman has been the Vice President of Engineering and Exploitation of Daylight since December 2004. From 2000 to 2004 Mr. Eshleman worked for Calpine Canada Resources Ltd. and Encal Energy Ltd. (Calpine acquired Encal in April 2001). Mr. Eshleman's position with Calpine was Director of Engineering and Development, and he was with Calpine until it was sold in September 2004 to Prime West Energy Trust (a public oil and gas trust). From 1998 to 2000 Mr. Eshleman was the Manager of Engineering for Ulster Petroleums Ltd.

Randy Ford | Vice President, Operations

Mr. Ford has been Vice President, Operation of Daylight since June 2005. From 2000 to 2005 Mr. Ford advanced to the position of Group Leader of Drilling - Peace County and Bighorn Business Units with EnCana (a senior public oil and gas company) or its predecessor. From October 1996 to May 2000 Mr. Ford was Vice President, Drilling & Completions at Ulster Petroleums Ltd.

Steve Horner | Vice President, Business Services

Mr. Horner has been the Vice President, Business Services of Daylight since December 2004. From May 2001 to November 2004 Mr. Horner was Vice President, Business Services of Vintage (a 100% owned subsidiary of a publicly traded oil and gas company). From January 1999 to April 2001 Mr. Horner was Vice President, Corporate Development of Genesis Exploration Ltd. (a public oil and gas company). Prior to joining Genesis Exploration Ltd., Mr. Horner worked for 14 years with Renaissance Energy Ltd. (a public oil and gas company) where he held various executive positions.

Pamela Kazeil | Vice President, Finance

Ms. Kazeil joined Daylight in 2008 as the Vice President, Finance. Prior to this position, she was Vice President, Finance at Sword Energy Inc., a private oil and gas company. From 2004 to 2007 Ms. Kazeil worked with Thunder Energy Trust (a public oil and gas Trust) and its predecessor Thunder Energy Inc. (a public oil and gas company) in various positions culminating in Ms. Kazeil's position as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance of the Trust. Ms. Kazeil also worked with KPMG LLP.

Jerry Simpson | Vice President, Production

Mr. Simpson has been the Vice President, Production of Daylight since September 2006. From December 2004 until September 2006 he was Manager, Production and Facilities. Prior to, Mr. Simpson was Manager, Production & Facilities of Midnight Oil and Gas Ltd. (a public oil and gas company) starting April 2002. From July 1998 to May 2000 Mr. Simpson was Southern Production Manager of Ulster Petroleums Ltd.

Cam Proctor, LL.B | General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

Mr. Proctor joined Daylight in April 2010. Prior thereto and since 2003, Mr. Proctor was a member of the Calgary office of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, specializing in corporate, securities and mergers and acquisition law. As a member of Daylight's management team, Mr. Proctor's primary focus is to provide Daylight with legal support in the areas of equity and debt financings, acquisitions and divestitures, day-to-day oil and gas operations, dispute resolution and litigation matters, corporate secretarial functions and adherence to securities law and regulatory requirements associated with public issuer status in Canada. Mr. Proctor holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Calgary.
