Growth Strategy

Daylight's growth strategy involves a combination of acquisitions and organic growth through drilling. The company has proven its growth ability by reaching production of over 40,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day during 2010.

Daylight intends to continue its growth by capitalizing on multiple resource plays that are established on Daylight's existing lands. The areas and zones where Daylight is focusing its 2010 capital program are as follows:

Geographical AreaGeological FormationTargeted Commodity
Pembina, Alberta Cardium Hz Light Oil
Elmworth / NE British Columbia Cadomin Hz Natural Gas
Nikanassin Vertical & Hz Natural Gas
  Multi-zone Uphole Cretaceous Natural Gas
West Central Alberta Bluesky & Cardium Hz Liquids Rich Natural Gas

Daylight has a balanced asset mix between oil, liquids-rich natural gas and natural gas. Daylight has the flexibility to focus our capital investments towards the commodity that provides the best economic return at any given time.
